This presentation will explore the developments in forestry practices, supply and demand of wood consumption, and impact on forest ownership on industry and trade. It will also go into the importance of forest certification for environmental sustainability, reviewing the SFI standards as well as investigating the benefits of using certified wood and the relevancy to LEED and other green building programs.
