Girls’ Lego Day

Thank you to all who participated in our June event! Keep an eye out for more information on our next event!

Did you know that only 17% of registered architects are women?  We want to change that – starting with our school-aged designers and dreamers!

The Winston-Salem Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, sponsored by ACTIVATE NC, is inviting thirty elementary-aged girls to join local architects for a morning of designing and building.  The event is FREE and will give the girls the opportunity to engage with local designers, architects, engineers, and contractors to learn more about architecture and design.  Each participant will go home with a new sketchbook, colored pencils, and a small collection of LEGOs.
