Have a starry, starry day touring the Pleaides, a new project by one of Raleigh’s hottest Modernist design firms, RACo, led by Robby Johnston and Craig Kerins.
There are eight cool houses with a mini park right in the development’s backyard. You’ll get the cook’s tour of four of them with a guide from RACo taking small groups every 45 minutes thoughout the day! Like what you see? You can buy one. @pleiadesmodern

AIA WS kicked off Fall with a Section Lunch on AI + Architecture with guest speaker, Joe Parrish, of UpUpDownDown! Joe Parrish is the founder of upupdndn and creator of The Six Moves, amethod for making an organization’s judgment, direction, and operating logic clear enough for people and AI to use. Using practical examples, he explored what AI needs to understand beyond the drawing, including design intent, client context, standards, and professional judgment, and what firms must make explicit before AI can become useful across the practice.
